Thelco Pump of the Day: Worthington 1.5LLR-10A
Worthington Pumps Built for Long-Term Performance
Today’s Thelco Pump of the Day features one of our Worthington Pumps, the 1.5LLR-10A, configured with standard fitted construction and a 9.25 inch diameter impeller.
The Worthington LLR Series brings a different design to our Pump of the Day lineup. Unlike the D-Series pumps we have recently featured, the LLR uses a horizontal split case design. Additionally, Thelco supports these pumps with complete units and thousands of Worthington Pump Parts for continued maintenance and long term operation.
Worthington 1.5LLR-10A
First, today’s featured pump is a Worthington 1.5LLR-10A.
The LLR Series represents another proven Worthington centrifugal pump platform. Its split case construction provides access to internal pump components while maintaining an established design that remains in service across many applications.
Furthermore, Thelco continues to support LLR pumps with complete replacement pumps and individual components.
9.25-Inch Diameter Impeller
This Worthington 1.5LLR-10A features an impeller machined to 9.25 inches in diameter.
Impeller diameter plays an important role in matching a centrifugal pump to the required operating conditions. Therefore, Thelco can provide impellers at the appropriate diameter to meet specific pump requirements.
In this case, the installed impeller measures 9.25 inches in diameter, making the pump ready for its specified service conditions.
Standard Fitted Construction
Additionally, this 1.5LLR-10A features standard fitted construction.
Worthington Pumps are available in different material configurations depending on the application requirements. Consequently, customers can select the appropriate pump construction while retaining the proven design of the LLR platform.
The standard fitted configuration shown here provides another example of the different Worthington pump configurations Thelco can supply.
Worthington LLR Split-Case Design
One of the defining characteristics of the LLR Series is its horizontal split case construction.
The casing separates along a horizontal plane, providing access to the pump’s internal components. As a result, technicians can access critical components during normal pump maintenance without changing the fundamental installation.
Moreover, the design allows facilities with existing LLR equipment to continue maintaining their established pump systems with the correct replacement components.
Worthington Pump Parts Available from Thelco
In addition to complete pumps, Thelco stocks thousands of Worthington Pump Parts for LLR pumps and numerous other Worthington models.
Available components include:
- Impellers
